Paul Bury founded Bury+Partners, a civil engineering and consulting firm, in 1984. Since that time, the profound impact of his work in the industry has helped shape Central Texas. As an advocate for the community, Bury has been involved in multiple philanthropic endeavors and organizations, including involvement with the Boy Scouts of America Capitol Area Council, serving on the Advisory Council of the Colorado River Alliance, and sitting on the Board of Directors for the Headliner’s Club. Bury is also a Past President and a member of the Executive Committee for the Greater Austin Crime Commission Board of Directors.
In 2007, he received the W. Neal Kocurek Lifetime Achievement Award from the Austin Business Journal in recognition of his impact on the commercial real estate industry. In 2006, he was named the Volunteer of the Year in Economic Development by the Chamber, for which he served as chairman in 2009.
